Static or dynamic QR code: which one?

A static QR code stores the data (link, Pix, Wi-Fi) inside the code itself: it is free and works forever, but you cannot edit it later or measure scans. A dynamic QR points to a short link you control, so you can change the destination and track how many people scanned it.

To keep the QR scannable

  • Good contrast: dark on a light background
  • When printing, at least 2 x 2 cm
  • With a logo in the center, use high error correction
  • Test on more than one phone before publishing
