What is Open Graph (og:image)?
Open Graph is the protocol that defines how a link appears (title, description and image) when shared on social media.
Open Graph uses meta tags in the page head (og:title, og:description, og:image) to control the preview shown when the link is shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and others.
The og:image is the share cover image; the recommended size is 1200×630 px. A good image increases the click-through rate of links on social.
